Aurora Kahn (age 9), Sage Kahn (age 8), and Valya Khan (age 6) live in Frederick, MD. The kids love to find lost or stray golf balls. While visiting their grandparents, Keith and Pam Casper at the Woods Resort over the Labor Day holiday, they found so many golf balls that they asked if they could sell them. Their grandparents told them that could not sell the golfs balls, but they could take donations for a charity.

While cleaning and sorting the balls, they talked with their grandparents about local charities. They decided that the Eastern Panhandle Empowerment Center (EPEC), formerly Shenandoah Women’s Center, was a good idea.

Aurora, Sage and Valya presented Linda Ackerman, an EPEC board member, with the $108 they collected. Aurora, Sage and Valya and their grandparents, would like to thank all the golfers who made donations and EPEC thanks them for their generosity!
